1. General Information (Operating Conditions)

The A-frame LARS operates reliably in marine conditions up to sea state 3 under the following parameters:

  • Roll: amplitude 10° from vertical, period 11–12 s
  • Pitch: amplitude 2.5° from vertical, period 9 s
  • Wind load: 400 Pa (40 kgf/m²)
  • Trim (bow/stern): up to 2°
  • Ambient air temperature: -40°C to +40°C
