1. General Information (Operating Conditions)

  • Heel/trim: 20° / 10°.

4. Additional Requirements

The diving basket (working) ensures:

  • Deployment and recovery of two outfitted divers from the vessel.
  • Immersion down to depths of 60 meters.
  • Recovery in decompression mode in sea states up to and including Beaufort force 3.
  • Deployment of underwater engineering tools within the basket.
  • Emergency breathing air supply to divers from onboard reserve cylinders.

The diving basket (rescue) ensures:

  • Deployment and recovery of one outfitted diver from the vessel.
  • Immersion down to depths of 60 meters.
  • Recovery in decompression mode in sea states up to and including Beaufort force 3.
  • Deployment of underwater engineering tools within the basket.
  • Emergency breathing air supply to divers from onboard reserve cylinders.

Documentation, marking, and data plates are provided in Russian.

The hydraulic system and all electrical equipment are pre-installed on the davit and do not require shipboard installation works.

Electrical equipment heating is supplied via the davit power network.

Davit operational availability is maintained in sea states up to and including Beaufort force 3 (wind speed limit not exceeding 8 m/s).

The jib-type davit is certified by RS (RMRS) and complies with the Technical Regulation, Gosgortekhnadzor of the Russian MoD, and the Rules for the Design and Safe Operation of Lifting Appliances of Navy Support Vessels (PGU SO VMF-83).

The lifting mechanism of the diving basket is manufactured in accordance with the Rules for the Design and Safe Operation of Launch and Recovery Systems of Navy Manned Submersibles and Apparatuses (PSPU-75, Navy Commander-in-Chief Order No. 153 dated 31.05.75).

All interfaces between the diving basket davit and connected equipment are documented via bilateral data and electrical interface protocols developed in accordance with RDV.8824-89.

Provision is made for transmitting a common fault alarm from the davit to the Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS / IPMS-MCO).

The equipment complies with GOST RV 20.39.308-98 regarding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) resistance.

The durability of equipment installed on open decks is ensured under all weather conditions, including unrestricted sea states, with no limitations regarding vessel motions, slamming impact, green water loads, or sea spray.

The applied coating systems are selected from the approved list for Russian Navy vessels.

Components, machinery, instruments, and materials are manufactured in the Russian Federation. In the absence of domestic manufacturing for specific materials, equipment, or machinery, imported alternatives are used subject to Customer approval and documented in compliance with federal legislation requirements.

All equipment is supplied complete with pre-installed data plates in Russian.

Equipment is delivered in non-returnable, sealed packaging to prevent damage from environmental factors and mechanical impacts during temporary storage.

The layout of machinery and equipment, along with the arrangement of shipboard control stations, complies with safety regulations for marine vessels.

Safety requirements comply with RD 31.81.01.87 “Safety Requirements for Marine Vessels.”
