About

Safeguarding Human Life

In harsh marine environments, the reliability of life-saving appliances is a critical aspect of vessel safety. The modern standard is the automated A-frame davit system, specifically engineered for the rapid and safe launching of rescue boats.

Operating Principle: Hydraulic and Gravity Force

The system is based on a rigid A-frame structure that ensures smooth and controlled movement. The distinctive feature of the A-frame davit is the combination of a powerful hydraulic drive for nominal operation and an engineered gravity system for emergency launching. This redundant mechanism ensures boat deployment even during a total loss of vessel power.

Key Features for Harsh Environments

The A-frame davit design accounts for all challenges of marine operations. The unit withstands continuous vibration, sea spray, and a wide temperature range. Low-temperature materials and specialized hydraulic fluids ensure system operability under the most demanding conditions.

Operational Efficiency and Reliability in Every Detail

Special emphasis is placed on ease of operation. The A-frame davit features a remote control station with an intuitive user interface, allowing the operator to monitor the launch and recovery process from the most advantageous and safe position. The comprehensive scope of supply includes all required components, from the hydraulic power unit to the rigging kit.

Domestic Engineering for the Russian Fleet

This equipment is designed and manufactured by Izhora Hydrosystems LLC, embodying advanced engineering expertise and strict compliance with Marine Register requirements. Integrating this A-frame davit onboard delivers a tangible improvement to crew safety and ensures compliance with high modern shipping standards.
