4. Additional Requirements

4.1 Davit System

  • The davit system features an enclosed steel housing that integrates all components, including the hydraulic power unit, winch, and associated equipment.
  • All equipment complies with the Rules of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
  • Electrical equipment is provided with external grounding bolts and cable glands.
  • All equipment is supplied complete with all necessary fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.).
  • The equipment operates continuously under vibration, trim, and heel conditions.
  • The launching mechanism is operated by a single person from the vessel’s deck or from within the rescue boat.
  • The launch operator has an unobstructed view of the boat during lowering.
  • Instruction plates, warning signs, and labels are provided in both Russian and English.
  • Cable glands and external grounding bolts are included in the scope of supply.

4.2 Rescue Boat

  • The rescue boat is prepared for operation under the environmental conditions specified in Section 1 of this document.
  • The equipment operates continuously under vessel vibration, trim, and heel conditions.
  • The rescue boat equipment and inventory comply with Section 6.19.2, Part II of the RS Rules for the Equipment of Sea-Going Ships.
  • The rescue boat complies with Section 6.19.1, Part II of the RS Rules for the Equipment of Sea-Going Ships.
  • Labels and markings are provided in both Russian and English.
