The twin-boom telescopic davit operates reliably under marine conditions under the following parameters:

  • Ambient air temperature: From -30°C at 65% relative humidity in winter to +36°C at 85% relative humidity in summer.
  • Seawater temperature: From +1°C in winter to +19°C in summer.
  • Winter layup: Heated indoor storage (+12°C inside insulated compartments) at an ambient outdoor temperature of -55°C with 85% relative humidity, and a seawater temperature of 0°C.
  • Operating period: Navigational season.
  • Wind speed: Gusts up to 24 m/s.
  • Vibrations: Standard vessel-induced vibration.

2. Purpose

The twin-boom telescopic davit is designed for the launch and recovery of pleasure craft to and from the vessel. It features an electro-hydraulic drive system to power hoisting, carriage travel, and boom extension during vessel operations.

System control is available locally and via wireless control. The control circuits are powered by 24 V DC. The total weight of the system is approximately 2,500 kg.

  • The equipment complies with RKO (Russian Classification Society) Rules and the “Technical Regulation on the Safety of Inland Water Transport Objects” (approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 623 dated August 12, 2010). Supplied to the vessel with RKO certificates.
  • The coating system complies with RKO requirements.
  • Equipment final painting is determined at the technical specification approval stage with the designer.
  • All supplied components are suitable for indoor storage for 12–18 months.
