About

Universal LARS for ROV: Innovations in Subsea Technology by Izhora Hydrosystems LLC

Modern marine research and subsea vehicle operations require equipment capable of ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency across a wide range of operational conditions. The LARS for ROV by Izhora Hydrosystems LLC provides an integrated solution for the launch and recovery of various types of manned submersibles.

Operation in Harsh Environments

The operation of subsea lifting systems involves exposure to extreme climatic and marine environments. Our equipment is engineered to withstand variations in temperature and humidity, wind loads, and seawater exposure, enabling LARS utilization both in warm summer conditions and during cold winter operations. The versatility of this system expands capabilities for offshore research and industrial tasks.

Technical Versatility and Safety

The LARS for ROV provides comprehensive control of lifting operations, including wireless control capabilities. Special emphasis is placed on the emergency recovery system, which enhances operational safety during non-standard situations. The knuckle boom with variable outreach allows high-precision vehicle maneuvering, ensuring effective subsea equipment handling regardless of vessel type or deck conditions.

Innovative Structural Design

Izhora Hydrosystems LLC has developed a LARS that combines a heavy-duty hydraulic power base with advanced control mechanisms. Every component is integrated into a unified system capable of operating without auxiliary heating in low-temperature environments. Strict attention is paid to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) with other vessel equipment, guaranteeing correct operation in conjunction with onboard systems.

Reliability and Durability

The LARS for ROV is designed for long-term operation, verified by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) documentation. The utilized materials and coating systems ensure long-term equipment storage and operation, while the inclusion of a complete scope of installation equipment and counter-connections ensures a convenient and safe installation process.
