1. General Information (Operating Conditions)

The watertight hangar door ensures reliable operation in marine environments under the following conditions:

  •  Design ambient air temperature: +45°C with 80% relative humidity in summer; -40°C with wind speeds up to 25 m/s and 85% relative humidity in winter. Water temperature: from +32°C to -2°C respectively.
  • Vessel vibration.
  • Periodic sea water spraying of components.
  • Permanent list to port/starboard up to 5° inclusive.
  • Permanent trim by bow/stern up to 2° inclusive.

2. Purpose

The hangar door is designed to close the structural opening in the vessel’s hull. The watertight seal prevents ingress of water, dust, and external elements into the hangar, including under static list angles up to 5° port or starboard and trim up to 2° bow or stern at the minimum vessel draft.

4. Additional Requirements

  • All electrical equipment has a minimum ingress protection rating of IP56;
  • Coating system: the coating specification and color shall be agreed upon with the Customer;
  • Preservation coatings ensure an indoor shelf life of 12–18 months;
  • Hydraulic fluid: AUP;
  • Fluid cleanliness class per GOST 17216-71: min. Class 12;
  • Power supply cables are provided with mating connectors;
  • Equipment is delivered in packaging suitable for crane or forklift handling, road transport, and storage in sheltered outdoor areas;
  • Supply includes an extract from the registry of Russian industrial products (Decree No. 719 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation).
